West Seoul (B) Little League from South Korea captured the Asia‑Pacific Region Tournament with a flawless 6‑0 record, earning a place in the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series.

It is the second occasion that a West Seoul team has reached the international stage, having previously done so in 2017, and it represents the eighth overall appearance for South Korean clubs in the tournament.

The championship game pitted the Korean side against Hung‑Yeh Little League from Taitung County, Chinese Taipei, whom they defeated 3‑1 to complete their unbeaten run.

World Series Kick‑off in Williamsport

The 79th Little League Baseball World Series will take place in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, from August 19 to 30. The Korean champions open their campaign against the Canada Region winners at Volunteer Stadium, a game that will be broadcast live on ESPN.

South Korea’s involvement continues a storied tradition that began with their first appearance in 1984 and includes championship titles in 1984, 1985 and 2014.
