The Southeast Idaho Conference recently unveiled its slate of end‑of‑season honors, celebrating the athletes who defined the 2025 baseball campaign.
Wendell’s senior standout Deegan Prince was selected as the league’s Player of the Year after posting a .443 batting average and striking out 58 opponents, numbers that underscored his dual threat at the plate and on the mound.
Malad’s pitching ace Hudson Daniels captured Pitcher of the Year, posting a 1.43 ERA and fanning 34 batters across 15 appearances, a performance that helped anchor a rotation that ranked among the state’s best.
Easton Green earned Offensive Player of the Year after compiling 36 hits and 14 RBI, guiding the Dragons to a 24‑6 record that placed them near the top of the conference standings.
Carter Carey rounded out the Malad sweep by taking Defensive Player of the Year, his .980 fielding percentage and 198 putouts reflecting a reliability that steadied the team’s defense throughout the season.
Beyond individual accolades, the awards also reflected the broader success of the participating programs, with both Wendell and Malad posting winning campaigns that highlighted the competitive depth of the Southeast Idaho Conference.
