The Southern All‑League team for the 2026 American Legion baseball season has been announced, honoring five standout players from the Brattleboro and Bellows Falls area for their performances on the diamond.
Bellows Falls Post 37’s Representation
Post 37 contributed three of the honorees — Steven Joslyn, Eli Allbee and Devyn Cheeney — each of whom helped the squad finish sixth in the league with an 8‑10 record, narrowly missing the state tournament.
Brattleboro Post 5’s Selections
Brattleboro Post 5 also earned two spots on the All‑League list, with Jackson Dermatis and Sean Cozza recognized after a 9‑9 regular‑season league record that secured the No. 3 seed in the Southern Division and a berth in the state tournament.
Tournament Run and Upcoming Finals
Post 5 went 2‑2 in the state tournament before falling to Essex Post 91 in the semifinals. The Vermont State Legion Tournament will conclude on Friday with a championship game featuring the winners of Post 91 and Ludlow Post 36 against Lyndon Post 30.
Little League State Championships
This weekend the Brattleboro Little League 10U All Stars will meet Colchester in the state championship at Schifilliti Park in Burlington, while the 12U All Stars face Camels Hump at 254 Park Street in Stowe. Victors in both divisions will advance to their respective regional tournaments.
