Southern Arizona Announces 2026 Baseball All-Stars

Honoring top players, freshmen and coaches across divisions

The Southern Arizona baseball community is celebrating the 2026 All-Star selections, which recognize the region’s most outstanding talent across multiple divisions.

2026 Southern Arizona Baseball All-Stars Honorees

In the 4A‑6A tier, Francisco Rivero of Canyon del Oro and Michael Chop of Ironwood Ridge shared the Player of the Year honor, while Emrick Thompson of Sunnyside earned the same distinction in the 6A category. Rocco Haggard from Tanque Verde was named the 3A Player of the Year, and Kannon Shore of Patagonia took the 1A honor.

Freshman accolades went to Bostyn Dart of Canyon del Oro, who was named 4A‑6A Freshman of the Year, and to Edrik Jimenez of Mica Mountain, who captured the 1A‑3A Freshman award. Lucas Kriegshauser from Tanque Verde also earned Freshman recognition in the 3A division, while Nino Tabanico of St. Augustine was selected as the 2A Freshman of the Year.

Coaches were honored across the spectrum, with Fred Trujillo of Benson named 4A‑6A Coach of the Year, Jason Hisey of Canyon del Oro taking the 1A‑3A Coach award, and Mark Morris of Tucson alongside Gabriel Moraga of Sunnyside sharing the 6A Coach honor. Additional coaching recognitions included Danny Preble of Salpointe for the 4A category, Eddy Villarreal of Pusch Ridge for 3A, and Ron Goodman of St. David for both 6A and 1A.
