Head coach Blake Anderson, who is entering his first full season as the Golden Eagles’ leader, used the gathering to outline his vision for the upcoming 2026 campaign. Anderson, who previously served as offensive coordinator under Charles Huff in 2025 and spent four years as an assistant in Hattiesburg from 2008 to 2011, expressed confidence that the team is poised for a strong showing.
Athletic Director Jeremy McClain emphasized that summer tours are more than just promotional activities; they are vital conduits for rebuilding relationships with the fan base after a period of limited in‑person interaction. ‘These stops allow us to listen to our supporters, understand their expectations, and showcase the program’s direction,’ McClain said.
