Space Coast Pro Soccer is proposing an 8,000‑seat stadium on a 53.8‑acre site adjacent to Melbourne Orlando International Airport, a project that would anchor a new United Soccer League franchise.
A multi‑use destination for sport and culture
The venue is designed to host not only matches but also concerts and large‑scale events, offering a gathering place for the local aerospace workforce and the broader community.
Adrian Heath, who spent six years at the helm of Orlando City and guided the club to two USL titles, has been named the new side’s inaugural manager.
Construction is slated for completion ahead of the 2028 USL season, pending clearance from the city’s Planning & Zoning Board after a series of public hearings.
Economic and sporting outlook
Beyond the pitch, the development promises to generate jobs and ancillary revenue streams, from hospitality services to catered client meetings, while positioning the region as a hub for soccer‑related entertainment.
Local entrepreneur Nathaniel Carter, who runs the Apollo Diner, has voiced support for the project, citing the potential boost to nearby businesses.
