Alumni Return to Inspire

Three former National Basketball Association standouts, Pat Spencer, Cam Spencer and Will Spencer, revisited the halls of their former high school to conduct a basketball camp that blended skill development with personal storytelling.

The event, which attracted roughly 70 campers ranging from eight to sixteen years old, gave the youngsters a rare chance to learn from professionals who have navigated the transition from high school stardom to the NBA.

Camp Highlights

Pat Spencer, who spent three seasons with the Golden State Warriors before signing with the Phoenix Suns, recounted the grind of daily practices, the thrill of championship contention and the lessons he carries from the Bay Area.

Cam Spencer, a two‑year veteran of the Memphis Grizzlies, spoke about his own journey, emphasizing resilience and the importance of seizing every opportunity on the court.

Will Spencer, a 2021 graduate of Boys' Latin, shared memories of his high school days, describing how the school's culture shaped his work ethic and love for the game.

Beyond the drills, the brothers used the platform to highlight the campus, hoping to give prospective students a glimpse of the community that helped forge their ambitions. They also announced plans to make the camp an annual tradition, cementing a lasting connection between alumni and the next generation of players.
