On Saturday, August 15, the St. Louis Amateur Hockey Hall of Fame will induct three distinguished contributors who have shaped the city’s hockey narrative.
Pat Maroon, a native of St. Louis, was instrumental in the Blues’ historic 2019 Stanley Cup run, capping his performance with a double‑overtime winner in Game 7 that still resonates with fans.
Maroon’s championship pedigree continued with two additional Cups earned with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2020 and 2021, underscoring his ability to thrive on the biggest stage.
Mike Zuke, who wore a Blues jersey from 1978 to 1983, compiled 184 points through 58 goals and 126 assists, establishing himself as one of the franchise’s early playmaking greats.
After his playing days, Zuke turned to coaching, guiding 16U AAA teams and the St. Louis Jr. Blues, a path that earned him a place in the Hall of Fame as a builder of the sport.
Donn Lux, a St. Louis‑area entrepreneur, joined the Blues ownership group in 2012, ensuring that the franchise remained under local stewardship during a critical period for the team.
