Ryan St-Louis’s résumé reads like a study in resilience: he served as an alternate captain for the Dubuque Fighting Saints, posted 72 points in 58 games, and earned a Hobey Baker Memorial Award nomination during his final season at Northeastern University, where he recorded 68 points in 83 appearances.
Martin St-Louis, who entered the NHL without being drafted, compiled 1,134 games and 1,033 points before retiring, and he used a speech at the 2022 NHL draft to illustrate how hard work can rewrite a career narrative.
