Yost previously served as an assistant at Northwestern‑St. Paul, where in his debut season the Eagles posted a 19‑9 record, captured the UMAC regular‑season and tournament crowns, and saw star guard Lexi Hagen earn UMAC Player of the Year honors. The team went on to place fifth nationally in the 2025 NCAA Division III Tournament, a finish that underscored Yost’s ability to blend tactical acumen with player development.
Player Development and Recruitment
Beyond the collegiate ranks, Yost directs the Girls Basketball program for Minnesota Crossfire, an AAU organization where he has honed a reputation for identifying talent and guiding prospects toward collegiate opportunities.
