The Stanley Cup will be on display at Dunkin' Park in Hartford on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering fans a chance to snap photos with the iconic trophy without needing a ticket.
All contributions collected during the free event will be donated to the Tunnel To Towers Foundation, an organization that provides financial assistance to the families of September 11 first responders.
The exhibition is being coordinated by the Hockey Hall of Fame in partnership with Hartford’s professional hockey team, the Yard Goats, with former Whalers equipment manager Bob Gorman helping to arrange the showcase for the local community.
A Summer of Global Showcases
The trophy’s journey over the past months has taken it far beyond the ice rinks of North America, reflecting the NHL’s expanding international footprint.
After a summer tour that included stops in Denmark, Finland, and across the United States, the Cup most recently enjoyed a private celebration at Dockside Brewery with members of the Carolina Hurricanes, the 2026 champions, before heading to the Sandy Hook Elementary School Memorial in Connecticut.
Beyond the spectacle, the event underscores a broader effort to connect fans with hockey’s rich history while supporting charitable causes, reinforcing the sport’s community roots in Hartford and beyond.
