The Pittsburgh Steelers' signature fashion showcase, Steelers Style, returns this October for its latest edition, turning the spotlight on the intersection of football grit and runway flair.
Forged for the Gridiron: Runway Ready, Gameday Inspired
The event will take place on Friday, October 9 at 6 p.m. at the intimate Stage AE venue, where players, their families and guest designers will unveil collections that blend team heritage with high‑fashion sensibilities.
Now in its fifth decade, the annual show has become a staple of Pittsburgh’s cultural calendar, marrying the city’s love of the Steelers with a celebration of style, and it continues to draw attention from both the sports and fashion worlds.
Sponsored by Neighborhood Ford Store, PNC, and UPMC as well as UPMC Health Plan, the fundraiser channels every ticket sale and online bid into three charitable pillars: the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program, Cancer Bridges, and the Chuck Noll Foundation.
The UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program, led by Michael Collins, PhD, offers clinical care and cutting‑edge research on sports‑related head injuries, while the Chuck Noll Foundation fuels nationwide education and investigation into concussion safety. Cancer Bridges contributes its free support services, counseling and community programs for cancer patients and survivors.
An online auction accompanying the runway will feature exclusive items ranging from signed memorabilia to custom‑designed apparel, providing an additional avenue for attendees to amplify their impact.
Beyond the glitz, the evening underscores a broader mission: to leverage the Steelers’ platform for health advocacy, cancer awareness and community resilience, ensuring that every tackle on the field translates into tangible support off it.
Fans attending the show will experience a unique blend of on‑field spirit and off‑field compassion, reinforcing the notion that the Steelers’ influence extends far beyond the gridiron.
