A Community Comes Together
Stewartville High School will host the fourth annual Mason Ramaker Memorial Alumni Match on July 25, a charity soccer event that blends sport with a powerful mission.
The afternoon will feature back‑to‑back alumni matches, with the women’s game kicking off at 5:00 PM followed by the men’s match at 7:00 PM, allowing former players and current varsity athletes to share the field.
Organizer Chris Kuisle, Stewartville’s soccer coach, says the day is about healing, hope, and honoring the memory of Mason Ramaker, a former student whose story continues to inspire the community.
In addition to the matches, the event includes a silent auction, 50/50 raffles, concessions, and a youth soccer scrimmage hosted by Stewartville FC, offering entertainment for fans of all ages.
All proceeds will benefit the Hope Squad and Family Service Rochester, two organizations dedicated to suicide prevention and accessible mental‑health support for local families.
Admission is donation‑only, ensuring the event remains open to everyone while generating vital funds for these critical programs.

Mason Ramaker’s name lives on through this annual match, a tribute that unites alumni, families, and neighbors in a shared commitment to mental‑health awareness.
The Hope Squad, a peer‑to‑peer suicide prevention program serving the Stewartville School District, will receive support from the event, while Family Service Rochester will use funds to expand its mental‑health and family services.
Community members across Minnesota and beyond are expected to attend, reinforcing the message that sport can be a catalyst for conversation and change.
