The Boys and Girls Club of Central Wyoming has partnered with WYO Sports Ranch to launch a multi‑division summer basketball league that begins on June 15 and runs for seven weeks, culminating in a playoff and championship tournament.
The competition is divided into four skill‑based categories: D1 for varsity and elite adult players, who meet on Thursday evenings; D2 for junior‑varsity and mid‑level adults on Wednesday evenings; D3 for intramural and 35‑plus adults also on Wednesday evenings; and a 3‑on‑3 Development division for children in second through eighth grade, scheduled for Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Community Impact
Games will be held at various community venues, with the championship tournament taking place at the Casper College T‑Bird Gym, providing a central stage for the final matchups. Organizers say the league aims to bring the community together and create positive summer opportunities for student‑athletes, fostering teamwork and healthy competition across Wyoming.
