Lewis‑Clark State Women’s Basketball is gearing up for a busy summer, rolling out a series of youth camps and a high‑school tournament that will not only sharpen skills but also fund the Warrior women’s program.
Camp Schedule and Details
The Junior Warrior Camp, aimed at girls in grades one through six, runs from June 15 to 18 and carries a $100 fee. The event caps attendance at 75 participants, a limit that has historically been reached quickly, prompting families to register early.
A second offering, the Fundamental Skills Camp, targets girls in grades six to twelve and takes place June 22 through 25, costing $150 per camper. Like its predecessor, it is limited to 75 spots and has sold out in past years.
High School Tournament
From June 12 to 14, the program will host a Girls High School Tournament, guaranteeing each of the 32 participating teams five games. Teams pay $450 to enter, a fee that directly supports the Warrior women’s basketball budget.
Coach’s Vision
Coach Cali Moore expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming activities, noting that the energy generated by the camps and tournament will ripple through the entire program and help attract future talent.
Online registration is mandatory for the camps, while team entries for the tournament are encouraged to secure a spot. All proceeds from the events are earmarked for the Warrior Women’s Basketball program, reinforcing the club’s commitment to growth and community engagement.
