Celebrating District Champions
Summerfield’s softball team captured its third consecutive District championship, defeating Vandercook Lake and Manchester in a tightly contested final, while the baseball squad repeated as champions by beating Lenawee Christian and Britton Deerfield.
In soccer, New Boston Huron’s girls team surged past Adrian 4‑2 to advance to the state tournament, whereas Milan’s side fell to Ann Arbor Greenhills in the Division 2 District final.
Adding to the celebration, Summerfield golfers James Feudi and Logan Schwichtenberg tied for fifth place, securing their places at the upcoming state finals.
The achievements reflect a vibrant athletic program and underscore the talent emerging from these schools, drawing applause from students, families and local supporters.
