The Summit League has officially released its men's basketball schedule for the 2026‑27 season, outlining a 14‑game conference slate that begins on Jan. 7, 2027. The announcement marks the start of a competitive year for the league's member institutions.

Opening Weekend at Municipal Auditorium

Kansas City's campaign opens at Municipal Auditorium with a home matchup against South Dakota State on Jan. 7, followed by a home game versus South Dakota on Jan. 9. Both games set the tone for a season that will feature a blend of home‑court advantage and road challenges.

Additional home games at Municipal Auditorium are slated for Jan. 21 against Omaha, Jan. 23 against St. Thomas and Jan. 30 against Oral Roberts. The league also will host two neutral‑site contests at the Swinney Center, welcoming North Dakota on Feb. 11 and North Dakota State on Feb. 13.

The road portion of the schedule includes trips to face South Dakota on Feb. 4, South Dakota State on Feb. 6, St. Thomas on Feb. 18, Omaha on Feb. 21 and Oral Roberts on Feb. 27. Kansas City will also travel to North Dakota State on Jan. 14 and to North Dakota on Jan. 16, ensuring a balanced mix of conference opponents.
