The Southwest Conference revealed its 2026 baseball honors this week, spotlighting the league’s most outstanding players and coaches.
MVP and Coach of the Year
Harrison Schneider, a senior from Amherst, was selected as the conference’s Most Valuable Player after delivering a standout season at the plate and on the mound.
Matt Rositano, also of Amherst, earned the distinction of Coach of the Year, guiding his team to a remarkable campaign that included multiple late‑season victories.
First‑Team Pitchers
The conference’s first‑team pitching list reads like a who’s who of talent, featuring Cael Charles, Harrison Schneider, Bailey Thibeault and Jason Begalla, each of whom posted impressive statistics throughout the season.

Among the position players, the first‑team selections include Cooper Bingham, Eli Toyoda, Landon Wolf, Josh Bobrowski, Alex Soloff, Kaiden Vogelpohl, Braden Harrison, Gannon Padgett, Manny Ramos and Ryan Kessen, a group that combined power, speed and defensive skill.
