SweetWater Brewing Company, Atlanta’s original hometown craft brewery, has unveiled a sweeping soccer celebration that will transform the city throughout the summer of 2026, positioning the brand at the heart of the region’s sporting excitement.
The initiative, timed to coincide with the global tournament, pairs SweetWater with Atlanta United as the Official Craft Beer Partner, delivering its flagship American Lager, Daytrip IPA and other favorites to Mercedes‑Benz Stadium and a network of downtown fan zones.
Central to the experience are high‑energy watch parties at the SweetWater Taproom, scheduled for June 17 and July 15, where supporters can enjoy match viewings alongside limited‑edition collaboration beers, branded merchandise and live music from the hip‑hop group Nappy Roots.
Beyond the Taproom, the campaign expands to a series of downtown activations that invite visitors to explore interactive installations, sample exclusive brews and purchase limited‑run apparel that celebrates Atlanta’s unique culture.
Evan Woolard, SweetWater’s Senior Brand Manager, described the effort as more than a seasonal promotion, framing it as a citywide celebration of sport, community and the local spirit that has defined the brand for more than two decades.
The partnership also extends to the Atlanta chapter of the American Outlaws, the U.S. Soccer supporters group, ensuring that traveling fans and hometown enthusiasts alike receive a warm, beer‑filled welcome.
A Summer of Soccer and Craft Beer
Anchoring the campaign is SweetWater’s creative platform, “Official Beer of the World (Best Enjoyed in America),” which ties the festivities to a broader narrative of American pride while highlighting the brewery’s deep roots in the city it has called home for more than 25 years.
