The initiative arrives as the city prepares to host a marquee international tournament that will feature eight matches, including a semifinal, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world.
The program weaves together a series of stadium activations at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, vibrant downtown fan zones, exclusive collaborations with local partners, and high-energy watch parties at SweetWater’s iconic Atlanta Taproom. By positioning its brews at the heart of the action, the brewer aims to blend the city’s soccer passion with its celebrated beer culture.
Long before the 2026 tournament, SweetWater has served as the Official Craft Beer Partner of Atlanta United, embedding itself in the local soccer community. The new celebration expands that relationship, bringing the brand’s hometown roots to a global audience and offering fans a unique way to experience both the sport and the city’s hospitality.
Evan Woolard, senior brand manager for SweetWater Brewing, said the company is proud to help welcome supporters from across the globe while showcasing Atlanta’s dynamic spirit. Key highlights include official Atlanta United watch parties on June 17 and July 15 at the Taproom, as well as a series of downtown activations that will engage visitors and reinforce SweetWater’s deep ties to the city.
