A new era for the Lady War Eagles
The Sycamore Lady War Eagles soccer program is entering the 2026 season with a fresh sense of purpose, as veteran coach Davis Holland takes the helm for his first year at the varsity level.
Holland, who previously served as an assistant with the program, brings a blend of tactical acumen and player development experience that has already resonated with the returning roster.
The team will open its preseason at home with two marquee matchups: a showdown against Rossview on August 6 followed by a clash with White House on August 13. Both games are expected to draw large crowds from the Sycamore community.
The regular season kicks off on August 18 with an away contest against White House Heritage, a rival that has consistently challenged the Eagles in recent years.
Beyond the early fixtures, the 2026 schedule lists encounters with Harpeth, Nashville Christian, West Creek, Montgomery Central and several other regional opponents, promising a demanding stretch through October.

District semifinals are slated for October 6, setting the stage for the district championships two days later on October 8. The winners will then advance to sectionals and regionals, which are scheduled for October 20 through October 24.
