Syracuse University’s field hockey program is set to enjoy a heightened national spotlight this season, with two of its Atlantic Coast Conference contests slated for live television broadcasts.
A Season of Televised Showdowns
All of the Orange’s ACC matchups will be streamed on the ACC Network, the conference’s dedicated sports platform, ensuring that fans across the country can follow the action live.
The first televised encounter pits Syracuse against North Carolina at Karen Shelton Stadium in Chapel Hill on October 18, with kickoff scheduled for 2 p.m., followed by a clash with California at J.S. Coyne Stadium on October 25 at noon.
Early Road Tests
Before the ACC slate begins, the team opens the campaign with road games at Fairfield on August 28 and Northeastern on August 30, providing a chance to build momentum early in the season.
The Orange entered the previous NCAA Tournament as quarterfinalists and join three other ACC squads in receiving multiple televised appearances this year, underscoring the conference’s growing emphasis on the sport.
ACC Tournament Outlook
The 2026 ACC Field Hockey Tournament will feature all seven games on the ACC Network, with quarterfinal matches on November 3, semifinals on November 4, and the championship game on November 6 at 3 p.m., all broadcast live.
With a blend of seasoned veterans and promising newcomers, Syracuse aims to translate its televised exposure into a deep run in the tournament and perhaps a return to the national championship conversation.
