At the heart of the revival is quarterback Steve Angeli, a redshirt senior who missed most of last year with a torn Achilles but has returned to the field, throwing passes alongside both the first and second units during fall camp.
Brown has bolstered the quarterback competition by adding Amari Odom and Malachi Nelson, two transfer portal prospects who are expected to push Angeli for the starting role.
