Syracuse University’s women’s basketball program has officially released its 2026‑27 schedule, a 23‑game slate that blends a rigorous ACC conference slate with a varied non‑conference road trip.
Season Overview
The Orange will face 18 opponents within the ACC, including traditional rivals such as North Carolina, Duke and Wake Forest, while also hosting Boston College in a home‑and‑home series that adds extra intensity to the conference schedule.
Outside the league, Syracuse has secured matchups against Sacred Heart, Cornell, Siena, Canisius, Oklahoma and Le Moyne, giving the team a diverse set of challenges early in the season and opportunities to fine‑tune its identity before conference play ramps up.
The campaign opens on December 6 with a home game against SMU, and the regular season will conclude on February 28 with a road contest at Wake Forest, marking the end of a schedule that balances home‑court advantage with demanding away trips to Duke, Virginia Tech, Florida State and other powerhouses.
With more than half of the season already set, the coaching staff can now shift focus to recruiting, conditioning and game planning, aiming to translate this ambitious slate into a strong postseason run.
