Syracuse Women’s Ice Hockey Announces 2026‑27 Atlantic Hockey America Schedule

A full slate of 24 games sets the stage for a promising season featuring returning stars Ava Drabyk and Emma Gnade

Syracuse University’s women’s ice hockey program has unveiled its 2026‑27 Atlantic Hockey America slate, a 24‑game journey that begins with a five‑weekend opening stretch.

Opening Weekend and Early Road Tests

The Orange open the season on the road against Mercyhurst on October 2 and 3, then return home to host Penn State on October 9 and 10. A short trip to Robert Morris follows on October 16 and 17, after which Syracuse travels to Delaware for a weekend series on October 31 and November 1.

After a brief November 13‑14 break, the team heads to Lindenwood for a back‑to‑back set on November 6 and 7, then hosts RIT for a home‑and‑home series on November 20 and 21. The schedule weaves a pattern of two home and two road games against each conference opponent, ensuring balanced competition.

Mid‑Season Road Trips and Spring Return

December brings a return to Penn State for a home‑and‑home series on December 4 and 5, followed by a winter hiatus. The spring semester kicks off with a home series against Mercyhurst on January 8 and 9, then a road trip to Delaware on January 15 and 16, and a home series versus Lindenwood on January 22 and 23. Syracuse will again host RIT on January 29 and 30 before closing the regular season with a home series against Robert Morris on February 12 and 13.

The postseason begins with quarterfinal matchups on February 18 and 20, after which all game times will be announced. Returning standouts Ava Drabyk, who earned AHA All‑Rookie honors and amassed five weekly awards, and Emma Gnade, the program’s freshman goal‑scoring record holder with nine goals, are expected to lead the charge.

With a full slate of conference battles and a promising roster, the Orange look to build on last season’s momentum and contend for a deep playoff run.
