The Soundview Little League, a youth baseball team based in Tacoma, Washington, has earned a place in the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series after capturing the regional championship.

The championship game was decided in an 8‑5 victory over a squad from Eagle, Idaho, showcasing resilient hitting and solid pitching from the Washington side.
Next up, Soundview will meet the Phenix City Youth Baseball Little League from Alabama in the opening round of the World Series, a match that will be televised live on ESPN and streamed on Disney+.
The tournament, which features 38 games across ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC, begins on Wednesday in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, with the championship slated for August 30, pitting the U.S. bracket winner against the international champion.
Kyle Yarbrough, the team’s manager, will be joined on the bench by coaches Albert Weaver and Mark Landry, who have guided the squad through a demanding regional schedule.
