The sophomore guard first earned international attention by representing Brazil at the 2025 Globajam and by testing herself against WNBA opponents in exhibition matches, experiences that have sharpened her competitive edge and deepened her connection to the country's basketball culture.
During her rookie season in the United States she appeared in 25 games off the bench, logging a career‑high 10 points and shooting an efficient 49.2 percent from the field, while also pulling down a personal best of seven rebounds against Duke.
Now, with a spot on the qualifying roster within reach, Queiroz will travel to Argentina where Brazil will compete for a berth at the 2027 Women's AmeriCup in El Salvador, a tournament that promises to showcase the next generation of talent from across the continent.
