The Texans will open the season on August 29 against Prairie View A&M at 8 p.m., a game that will also crown the inaugural Chancellor’s Cup. Subsequent home contests include a September 19 showdown with Merrimack during Family Weekend, an October 3 matchup versus Chicago State for the Legends Game and Pink Out, a October 17 Homecoming clash with Central Arkansas, an October 31 Military Appreciation game against Eastern Kentucky, and a November 7 Senior Day contest with Abilene Christian. All games except the opener are slated for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
