Brown arrives after eight seasons at UCLA, where she guided the Bruins to multiple top‑10 finishes, back‑to‑back Final Fours in 2025 and 2026, and ultimately a national championship. Her tenure was marked by a relentless focus on elevating talent, turning raw prospects into conference standouts and professional prospects.
Her return to the Pacific Northwest is especially notable because it reunites her with Head Coach Tina Langley, with whom she previously enjoyed a successful stint at Rice University. Together they helped the Owls achieve their most competitive seasons in recent memory before parting ways.
