Temple University has announced that assistant coach Courtney Eldridge will take part in the inaugural NABC Flight School, an exclusive gathering for emerging assistants and athletics administrators.
A Rising Star Takes Flight
The event will be staged on the Nike Philip H. Knight Campus just outside Portland, Oregon, providing a state‑of‑the‑art setting for a series of panels, mock interviews and networking sessions.
Eldridge brings a decade of experience from the University of Iowa, where he served under Fran McCaffery and helped the Hawkeyes capture the 2022 Big Ten Tournament title and earn five NCAA Tournament appearances.
His contributions were highlighted by a deep tournament run that included a Sweet Sixteen appearance, underscoring his impact on player development and program success.
The recognition does not stop there; he was recently named a 2026 Silver Waves Media Rising Star and earned a spot on the publication’s Top 100 Most Impactful Mid‑Major Assistants list.
He joins just one other assistant from the American Conference in this year’s cohort, a testament to his growing influence in the sport.
