The Holland Sentinel’s annual preview shines a spotlight on ten high school football players from the Holland area who are expected to dominate the upcoming season.
Brandon Holman, a senior running back from Zeeland West High School, burst onto the scene last year with 1,262 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns, while also contributing 135 tackles and four interceptions on defense.
At Zeeland East, Isaiah Boonstra emerged as a premier wide receiver, hauling in 46 catches for 814 yards and ten scores, earning all‑conference and all‑region honors.
Quarterback Will Drnek, also from Zeeland East, completed 111 of 159 passes for 1,765 yards and 14 touchdowns, adding 249 rushing yards and three scores, showcasing a dual‑threat skill set.
Finn Galloway, a junior receiver for Holland High, recorded 55 catches for 901 yards and nine touchdowns, while also rushing for 89 yards and five scores, underscoring his versatility.
Defensive standouts include Jace Henry, a senior center at Zeeland West, who earned all‑conference and all‑region accolades with 55 tackles, and Logan Nash, a defensive back who notched five interceptions and 35 tackles, highlighted by two pivotal playoff picks.
Special teams contributor Dante Holley from Saugatuck set a school record with 19 touchbacks, averaged 55 yards per kick, and made all five field‑goal attempts, providing a reliable leg.
Zeek Ramandhani, an OL/DL from Zeeland East, was named all‑conference and all‑region after posting 41 tackles, four sacks and nine tackles for loss, while Coby Miller added a punt‑return touchdown and 38 receptions for 575 yards.
Eli Wolters, a junior quarterback from Holland High, threw for 2,326 yards and 21 touchdowns, ranking 11th all‑time in MHSAA single‑game passing performance, signaling a potent arm.
