Tennessee’s head coach Joe Kirt unveiled the 2026 women’s soccer schedule, confirming that the Lady Vols will play 11 home matches at Regal Stadium throughout the campaign.
Home‑Court Highlights
The season opens with a five‑match home stretch, beginning with an exhibition against Clemson on August 5 before the team travels to face Virginia, the No. 1 seed from last year’s tournament, on September 3.
Key conference opponents include Big Ten powers Rutgers and Northwestern, as well as SEC rivals LSU, Texas and Alabama, all slated to visit Regal Stadium.
Looking Back and Forward
The Lady Vols finished 2025 with a 12‑4‑3 record, captured a program‑first No. 1 ranking and set attendance records, drawing 24,878 fans for a single match.
Returning standouts such as Cayden Norris, who earned Second Team All‑SEC honors, and forward Shae O'Rourke, who is working toward full health after a season‑ending injury, headline a roster that also welcomes five new transfers — forward Kai Tsakiris and midfielder Ines Derrien among them.
Coach Kirt emphasized that the incoming freshman class, ranked No. 5 nationally by TopDrawerSoccer, will add depth as the team looks to translate its early success into a sustained push for the top spot.
