Tennessee Athletics announced that its football season ticket inventory has been sold out for the fourth consecutive year. The surge in interest is reflected in a waiting list that now exceeds 30,000 names, underscoring the program’s growing popularity.
A packed schedule on the horizon
Looking ahead, the Volunteers will navigate a nine‑game SEC regular season, the first such schedule this fall, featuring five home conference battles. The marquee opener arrives on Sept. 26 when Texas visits Knoxville, a noon kickoff that will be televised on ABC or ESPN. Flex windows will carry the sold‑out games against Auburn and Alabama, as well as the LSU contest, while Kentucky is slated for the evening slot.
The excitement extends beyond the stadium. The season will open with a Sept. 5 clash against Furman, streamed on SEC Network+ and ESPN+, and the Volunteers will begin preseason workouts on Aug. 5 under head coach Josh Heupel, marking his sixth year at the helm.
