The Aggies exploded for 12 runs in the fourth inning, a burst that included Caden Sorrell driving in six RBIs across five plate appearances and a flurry of hits from eleven different Texas A&M batters.
Gavin Lyons earned the win, tossing four innings while allowing three runs, whereas Gage Burdick started for Lamar and was charged with the loss after a brief 1.1‑inning outing.
Lamar's lineup saw Beau Durbin and Kevin Duran each collect two hits and two RBIs, but the Cardinals could not contain the Aggies' offense, which amassed 18 hits, 14 walks and only six strikeouts in 34 at‑bats.
