Regional Finals Wrap‑Up
The final series of the Texas high school baseball playoffs have been completed, delivering a host of regional champions and setting the stage for the upcoming state semifinals across multiple classifications.
In Class 6A Division 1, Keller posted a 2‑0 series victory over Euless Trinity, while Rockwall edged Waxahachie 2‑1. Houston Summer Creek also advanced with a 2‑1 win against Katy, and Lake Travis completed a 2‑0 sweep of Round Rock Cedar Ridge.
Class 5A Division 2 saw Flower Mound Marcus and Tomball each dominate their opponents 2‑0, and Spring Branch Memorial secured a 2‑0 win over Katy Tompkins. Dripping Springs fought back to win a 2‑1 series against Pharr‑San Juan‑Alamo.
The Class 5A Division 1 bracket produced four more semifinalists: Aledo, McKinney North, Montgomery Lake Creek and Leander Rouse, each prevailing in tightly contested series.
Class 4A action was equally dramatic, with Argyle, Lucas Lovejoy, Humble Kingwood Park, Mission Sharyland, Canyon West Plains, Texarkana Pleasant Grove, Bullard, Corpus Christi Calallen, Brock and Frisco Panther Creek all advancing after series that often stretched to three games.
Additional regional champions in the lower divisions include Iowa Park, Boyd, Huntington, Corpus Christi London, Wall, Paradise, Franklin, Jourdanton, New Home, Ropes, Collinsville, Beckville, Burton, Hamlin, Gordon, Groveton Centerville and Fayetteville, many of whom prevailed in one‑game or tightly fought three‑game series.
State Semifinalists
