The 2026 Collegiate National Team assembled by USA Baseball will soon embark on an unprecedented journey to Taichung City, Taiwan, where it will take part in the inaugural World Collegiate Baseball Championship beginning July 11. The squad, drawn from 21 universities across five American conferences, represents a cross‑section of the nation’s top collegiate talent.
At the heart of the pitching staff is right‑hander Luke Harrison from Texas. In eight recent exhibition games he logged a team‑leading ten strikeouts while restricting opponents to a mere .133 batting average, underscoring his command and poise on the mound.
Complementing the rotation is Anthony Pack Jr., whose bat has already drawn praise as one of the most naturally gifted hitters in college baseball. Pack Jr. topped the team in triples, RBI and total bases, and earned the 2026 SEC Freshman of the Year honor.
