Among the Texas representatives, Houston Astros veteran Yordan Alvarez and Texas Rangers right‑hander Jacob Latz will showcase their skills on the national stage, embodying the state’s deep baseball tradition.
The Futures Game, scheduled for Sunday at 11 a.m. CST, will feature a lineup of Texas prospects, including Ethan Salas of the San Antonio Missions, Jamie Arnold and Leo De Vries from the Midland RockHounds, and Caden Scarborough, a pitching standout for the Rangers.
The main All-Star Game will follow on Tuesday evening, capping a weekend that also includes the MLBx: All-Star 3‑on‑3 exhibition, the T‑Mobile Home Run Derby, and a host of fan‑focused activities.
