Texas Tech’s football venue will henceforth be known as Galaxy Stadium after the university inked a $75 million, 15‑year naming‑rights agreement with the artificial‑intelligence company Galaxy, replacing the former Jones AT&T Stadium as the home of the Red Raiders.
The deal also unlocks name, image and likeness (NIL) opportunities for Texas Tech student‑athletes, allowing them to profit from the partnership with Galaxy.
Galaxy’s data center campus is located in Dickens County, Texas, providing the infrastructure that supports the company’s AI operations and the stadium’s new branding.
A New Era for Texas Tech Football
The Red Raiders will open the 2025 season at Galaxy Stadium on September 5 against Abilene Christian, marking the first game under the new moniker.
