Texas Tech Baseball and the Big 12 Conference have unveiled the full 2027 schedule, a 56‑game lineup that kicks off with a three‑game series against St. Mary's on February 19‑21.
The Red Raiders will test themselves against a who’s‑who of recent NCAA Tournament participants, meeting 28 opponents who earned postseason berths last year.
Key Rivalries
Among the highlights are home‑and‑away series against the defending College World Series champions Oklahoma, a showdown with Alabama on February 28, and a return trip to face Oklahoma State in the season’s closing stretch.
The schedule also features a three‑game series at the University of San Diego in early March, a four‑game homestand with Baylor in late March, and a mid‑week clash with New Mexico in late March.
Road trips will take the team to Texas State, La Tech, and Alabama in the Round Rock Classic, as well as to Houston, New Mexico and Cincinnati later in the spring.
A five‑game stretch in late April includes contests against SFA, Arizona State and UTRGV, before the final regular‑season series against Utah in Lubbock.
Postseason Outlook
If the Red Raiders navigate the demanding slate, they could earn a berth in the Big 12 Championship in Surprise, Arizona, slated for May 25‑29, and potentially advance to the NCAA Regionals in June.
Should they progress, the team would head to Omaha for the College World Series, the culmination of the 2027 baseball season, scheduled for June 18‑28.
