Hoosiers' Watch List Highlights
Indiana University’s men’s soccer program has placed three of its standout athletes on the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Players to Watch list as the 2026 campaign approaches.
Junior defender Josh Maher, who helped the Hoosiers to four clean sheets last season and earned a spot on the All‑America defender list, returns to Bloomington after a strong freshman year that featured two goals and an assist.
Senior forward Collins Oduro, a Ghanaian midfielder who was recognized with second‑team All‑Big Ten honors and a place on the United Soccer Coaches All‑North Region first team, contributed four goals and six assists in 19 appearances last year.
Forward Stephane Njike, a junior transfer from Maryland who tallied seven goals and seven assists for the Terrapins, was selected in the third round of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft by D.C. United, adding another layer of excitement to his collegiate profile.
The Hoosiers will conclude their preseason schedule with an exhibition match against Loyola University Chicago on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., before opening the regular season on August 20 at Bill Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington.
The recognition underscores the program’s growing influence in the Big Ten and nationally, as head coach Todd Yeagley prepares the squad for a competitive schedule.
