Rising Talent on the National Stage
The 2026 Longstreth Senior All‑American Field Hockey Game has announced its roster, and three rising Maryland prospects are among the nation’s elite seniors selected for the showcase. Aida Ierubino and Kendall Gilmore will don the colors of Team North, while Lily Mitchell will represent Team South in the exhibition that pits the country’s top high school seniors against one another.
Selection to the All‑American game is based on a combination of on‑field performance, statistical dominance and recognition from Max Field Hockey, the premier scouting source for the sport. The honorees were chosen from a deep pool of candidates after a rigorous evaluation of their high school careers.
From Pennsylvania to the National Stage
Aida Ierubino arrives at this milestone after a standout career at Central Bucks West High School in Pennsylvania, where she consistently ranked among the top attackers and earned multiple all‑state honors. Her leadership helped the team to a series of deep playoff runs, and her statistical output placed her in the top tier of high school attackers nationwide.
Kendall Gilmore, a native of Uxbridge, Massachusetts, built her reputation at Uxbridge High School through a blend of defensive tenacity and offensive flair. Coaches praised her ability to control the midfield and generate scoring chances, culminating in a season that saw her among the league leaders in assists and ground balls.
Mitchell’s Maryland Triumph
Lily Mitchell capped her high school career at Leonardtown High School with a decisive role in guiding the Raiders to the 2025 Maryland Class 4A state championship. Her performances in key matches highlighted her clutch ability and earned her a spot on the all‑state first team.
The upcoming All‑American Game will be held in early June and will be streamed live across national sports platforms. While the event serves as a celebration of the sport’s next generation, it also provides a final competitive preview before the athletes commit to their collegiate programs, many of which have already announced scholarships.
