Community Soccer Tournament Set to Light Up Pattee Field
The Monmouth‑Roseville Titans Alumni Soccer Game is gearing up for its second annual showdown, returning to Pattee Soccer Field on the first Saturday of August.
Organizer Raul Godina has announced plans to transform the traditional match into an all‑day community festival, featuring four separate games that will run from noon until the evening.
The tournament schedule begins with a semifinal at noon, followed by two additional semifinals, a third‑place playoff and the championship match, giving fans a full slate of high‑level alumni competition.
Beyond the on‑field action, the event is being marketed as a neighborhood gathering, inviting residents to set up food stalls, enjoy the games for free and mingle with former players and supporters.
Participation carries a $35 fee that covers insurance and a commemorative t‑shirt, while those who prefer to simply watch can purchase a shirt for $15 without playing.
Godina emphasized that the tournament is open to anyone, not just alumni of Monmouth‑Roseville High School, encouraging former players from across the region to sign up before the July 10 deadline.
