Annie Koester, a fifth‑grade student at St. Ann Catholic School in Kansas, was traveling with her family to a youth soccer tournament in Nashville when the vehicle she was in was involved in a collision on July 15.
She was placed on life support following the crash, but after days of intensive care she passed away on Saturday night, leaving her family, friends, and classmates devastated.
St. Ann Catholic School released a statement expressing gratitude for the outpouring of prayers and support, noting that Annie’s spirit would be remembered by students and staff alike.
