Programs Courting the Guard
Analyst Jon Rothstein has reported that Utah State, Cincinnati, St. John's and Providence have all expressed interest in the veteran guard, each looking to add his experience and leadership to their rosters.
During his final year at Michigan State he averaged 9.1 points and 3.7 assists per game, and after moving to NC State he appeared in 32 games, posting 9.2 points and 2.1 assists.
A court injunction has granted him the ability to seek a fifth year of eligibility, a path that many programs are eager to explore as they evaluate his skill set.
Coach Tom Izzo, who guided Holloman at Michigan State, has indicated that the university is not planning to bring him back, leaving the guard to weigh his options and focus on making an immediate impact wherever he lands.
