The 2025 flag football season on the Treasure Coast will be remembered for its dramatic finishes and record‑breaking performances. Two programs, Fort Pierce Central and John Carroll Catholic, fought their way to the regional finals, setting the stage for a cascade of individual honors.
A Season of Records
At the heart of Central’s offense, Kailee Grone emerged as the area’s most prolific passer, throwing for 3,259 yards and 40 touchdowns while also intercepting 24 passes. Her combination of arm strength and poise earned her the Offensive Player of the Year award.
Defensively, Naelah Breary anchored the same squad with 12 interceptions, three of which she returned for touchdowns, securing the Defensive Player of the Year distinction.
Coach Nick Clements guided the Eagles to their third straight regional final, finishing the year 13‑6 and cementing his reputation as the region’s most consistent leader, a fact that also earned him Coach of the Year honors.
Other standouts from the coast included Jensen Beach’s Jayla Brinkley, who amassed 94 receptions for 779 yards and 11 scores, and Erin Boyd of Central, who averaged 17.3 yards per catch on 54 receptions for 935 yards and 10 touchdowns.
John Carroll Catholic’s Brooke Hardy completed 66 percent of her passes for 1,878 yards and 44 touchdowns, while teammate Kali Clive recorded more than 400 receiving yards and 77 flag pulls. South Fork’s duo of Alyssa Inchierchiere and Callie Kiess combined for nearly 3,800 passing yards and 15 receiving scores, with Cadence Reed adding 80 catches, 763 yards and 15 touchdowns on defense.
The season also celebrated Karla Timothy, whose 3,200 career receiving yards and 48 touchdowns place her at the top of the Treasure Coast’s wide‑receiver history, and Myah Townes, who rushed for 1,091 yards and eight touchdowns for Legacy.
Finally, Aaliyah Wilson was the cornerstone of a Titans team that rattled off 11 straight wins en route to an 11‑2 record, underscoring the depth of talent across the region.
With such a wealth of talent, the area looks poised to continue its dominance in upcoming competitions, and fans can already anticipate the next chapter of gridiron excellence.
