Troy Baseball is gearing up for a competitive season as the roster welcomes two standout transfers who are expected to elevate the team's performance on both offense and the mound.
All‑Conference Talent Joins the Roster
Infielder George Haracz arrives from John Carroll University with two years of eligibility remaining. During his collegiate career he earned All‑Conference recognition in 2025 and 2026, collecting All‑OAC and All‑NCAC honors. In 2025 he posted a .318 batting average with 26 RBIs and a .931 fielding percentage, and in 2026 he improved to a .364 average, a .520 on‑base percentage, and led his conference with 45 walks.
Right‑handed pitcher RJ Anglin comes from Huntington University, where he compiled a 21‑10 record over three seasons. He struck out 245 batters in 198 innings, finished with a career 5.09 ERA and a 1.50 WHIP, and in 2024 posted a 3.31 ERA before a breakout 2025 season that saw 90 strikeouts in 64 innings. Anglin also earned the Crossroads League Gold Glove Award in 2026 after fielding at a .950 percentage with just two errors.
A Strategic Addition for Future Success
Both players bring a blend of offensive production and pitching reliability that aligns with Troy's recent surge, including a Division I College World Series appearance in 2025. Their experience and accolades are expected to deepen the squad's depth and provide a competitive edge as the program looks to build on its recent momentum.
