Disqualification Shakes Regional Tournament
Tulsa National Little League’s baseball squad was removed from the Southwest Regional Tournament after a series of rule breaches were uncovered, including improper sibling participation and violations of pitching limits.
The team had been slated to meet the winner of the Louisiana versus Texas West matchup in the championship game, scheduled for Tuesday, but the contest was postponed following the disqualification.
Tournament officials confirmed that the Louisiana versus Texas West contest, featuring Ascension Parish Little League and Boerne Little League, will now determine the tournament champion, with the final set to unfold between August 7 and 11 in Waco, Texas.
Investigation Launched Amid Growing Scrutiny
Three individuals filed a request for an investigation into Tulsa National’s adherence to Little League Regulations, Playing Rules, and Player Eligibility Requirements for International tournament eligibility.
The league is examining alleged breaches of sibling participation regulation II(a)(1), the league’s eligibility standards, the rule limiting a player to a single game per day under Regulation VI(k), and Rule 4.10(c)(2) governing game completion.
Little League has yet to release a public statement regarding the disqualification, leaving many to await further clarification.

While Tulsa National prepares to address the findings, the remaining competitors focus on the upcoming showdown, knowing that the outcome will crown the regional champion.
