Tusculum University names Scott Eul as new head baseball coach
Tusculum University announced this week that Scott Eul will take the reins as the program’s 26th head baseball coach, ushering in a new era for the Pioneers.
Eul arrives with a résumé that includes ten seasons as a head coach, during which he amassed 273 victories and guided eight different squads to conference tournament appearances, including a 2025 championship run at Missouri‑St. Louis that earned an automatic NCAA Tournament berth.
His tenure at Missouri‑St. Louis was marked by a 34‑22 record, two All‑American selections — first baseman Mitch Bonczkowski and pitcher Eli Cartwright — and a conference tournament title that highlighted his ability to blend talent development with competitive success.
Prior to that, Eul spent six years at Minot State University, transforming the Beavers into a perennial contender in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and compiling a 159‑102 overall record, while also serving as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at St. Cloud State, where he helped the Huskies capture two conference tournament titles and back‑to‑back NCAA Tournament bids.
Eul’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in physical education (2013) and a master’s in educational leadership and administration from St. Cloud State, and he shares his life with his wife Jordan and their two daughters, Britton and Torii.
