A Community-Focused Initiative
Two-time Super Bowl champion Trey Smith, a starting guard for the Kansas City Chiefs, returned to his roots in Jackson this weekend to run a youth football camp.
The camp, held at University School of Jackson, welcomed children from second through sixth grade. Over the course of the day, the kids took part in drills that covered tackling, passing and teamwork, all guided by Smith and several of his NFL colleagues.
Giving Back to the Community
In addition to on-field training, the event included a catered lunch and personalized swag bags, creating a festive atmosphere that celebrated both sport and community.
All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will be split between the Smith Legacy Foundation and the United Way of West Tennessee, reinforcing Smith’s commitment to giving back to the area that helped shape his career.
