Ty Kolly Earns All-State Baseball Honors

Inland Lakes senior joins elite Division 4 roster, highlighted by impressive stats and regional recognitions

A Season Defined by Excellence

Ty Kolly capped a remarkable high school career by earning a spot on the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association Division 4 all-state team. The senior infielder, who could be deployed at either second base or shortstop, posted a .436 batting average while driving in 25 runs and scoring 40 times, numbers that placed him among the most productive hitters in the region.

Kolly's impact extended beyond the box score. He collected all‑Ski Valley, all‑region and all‑district honors, underscoring his consistency against top competition. His blend of speed, contact hitting and clutch performance made him a cornerstone of Inland Lakes' lineup.

The all-state squad featured several standout players from across Northern Michigan. Joining Kolly were Justin Romel and Jacob Cantalano of Rogers City, Daniel Urman and Will Paulus from Harbor Light, Mac Collins and Mason Andrzejak of Pickford, and Cal Royce representing Gaylord St. Mary, each bringing a mix of power and precision to the roster.

Beyond individual accolades, the team's success was reflected in the coaching staff. Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart's Earl Hartman was honored as Division 4 Coach of the Year, a testament to the strategic guidance that helped shape a competitive and cohesive unit.
